Legal Fees, Without the Guesswork

You should understand the financial commitment before you decide to move forward. At TOS Legal, every engagement is offered at a flat fee, discussed and agreed upon before any work begins.

What Do Legal Services Cost?

If you have never worked with a lawyer before, it can be hard to know what to expect or what is reasonable. Here is how it works.

How much you invest depends on three things:

  • What you are trying to accomplish

  • The scope of work required to get it right (scope, not time)

  • How much support you want along the way

That last factor matters more than most people realize. Online document services can produce paperwork. They cannot tell you whether it fits your situation, answer your questions, or notice what you missed. With a do-it-yourself service, you are effectively the lawyer: you decide what you need, you fill in the blanks, and you carry the risk if something is wrong.

For Clients that Value Their Time

Most of our clients have weighed the tradeoff between DIY services and attorney-guided planning. They value their time, they want real support, and they know what they are protecting matters too much to leave to guesswork.

At TOS Legal, we need information from you, but you do not have to be the lawyer. We tell you what to gather, ask the questions you would not know to ask, and turn your decisions into a plan built for your situation. When you have a question, you talk to your legal team, not a help center, and that support is included in your flat fee.

How Our Fees Work

Almost every engagement is offered at a flat fee. Your fee is based on the scope and complexity of the legal work, not the number of emails you send or how many minutes we spend talking.

Your engagement agreement defines exactly what is included. If your scope materially changes, we discuss the additional work and its flat fee with you before it begins.

To help you plan, our typical engagements begin here:

  • Estate Planning (Wills and Trusts): Investment typically begins at $3500

  • Asset Protection Entities: Investment begins at $2,200 for a single LLC. Multi-entity structures are scoped individually.

  • Trademark Registration: Investment begins at $2800 per mark

Your exact fee is confirmed once we understand your situation.

Government and filing fees are separate from our legal fee. USPTO fees, Texas Secretary of State fees, and county recording fees are passed through at cost and identified in your engagement agreement.

Why We Use Flat Fees

Your fee is based on the scope and complexity of the legal work, not the number of emails you send or how many minutes we spend talking.

Hourly billing puts a meter on every question. Flat fees remove it. You can ask what you need to ask, and we can focus on getting your plan right and complete.

Your engagement agreement defines exactly what is included. If the scope of your matter materially changes, we will discuss the additional work and its flat fee with you before it begins.

Flexible Payment, Complete Protection

The scope of your plan is set by what it needs to protect. The timing of your investment is yours to choose.

You may pay your fee in full at engagement, or apply for financing through our third-party partner, ePay Finance, and complete your full plan now while paying over time. Checking your rate does not affect your credit score.
